This product combination is ideal for a garden orchard. If you are a small scale juice maker these two products will give you long years of service. The scratter comes with sharp teeth on a strong stainless steel drum that grate apples into thin slivers ideal for excellent juice yield. The press comes with 2 pairs of spacing blocks and a free pressbag.
The scratter is a simple but very effective machine. Just load whole apples into the stainless steel hopper and turn the handle. A bucketful of apples (about 5 kg) can be milled in around 3 and a half minutes.This quality fruit press takes up to 18 kg of pulped fruit and yields around 8 litres (14 pints) of juice per pressing.

It’s not bad, but the scratter needs a lot of clearing as it is used. The wooden blocks could be better as the have swollen. The spout for the juice is rather shallow so you have to top it out. But it’s not a bad thing!
