Managed to make this press and it works well giving us amazing Apple juice from our own apples
I would rather have had a cross head but nevertheless it does the job
The press went together well, though when used, we found that many more layers of wooden blocks were needed as the fruit was pressed down. Quite heavy force was needed on the handle and this meant that the press itself had to be very securely screwed to a wooden base plate on a work bench/table.
Press worked as expected, but was starting to buckle under the pressure I applied. The base requires to be made stiffer/thicker.
Easy to assemble; very clear instructions,
At this price, it’s amazing!
Very reasonable price. I’ve dropped one star as juice sometimes ran back underneath from the spout
Does an excellent job.
Easy to assemble, very easy to use, made some cracking cider with apples from my garden. A small amount of wine was also made from my 2 year old vine.
I love my fruit press! It’s been a real game-changer for me when it comes to making cider at home. I also hope to use it to make wine next year. Brilliant!
