The RED COMBO is our best-value apple press and crusher set for making fresh apple juice and cider at home. It combines the KSC-FP manual apple crusher with your choice of a 12 or 18 litre traditional fruit press, giving you everything needed to crush and press apples in one affordable package.
The KSC-FP is a simple, tough and effective manual apple crusher. It works with apples, pears, grapes and other hard or soft fruit and can be assembled in just a few minutes. Simply halve smaller apples or quarter larger cooking apples, place the crusher over a suitable container and turn the handle to produce pulp ready for pressing.
Choose the press size that suits your harvest:
- 12 litre KS12: holds around 12 kg of pulped fruit and yields approximately 5 litres (9 pints) per pressing*
- 18 litre KS18: holds up to 18 kg of pulped fruit and yields approximately 8 litres (14 pints) per pressing*
All three presses are compact traditional basket presses designed for home juice and cider making. Each press includes a free press bag and 2 pairs of pressing blocks to help achieve effective juice extraction.

Bought as a gift for my father who has a number of apple trees in his garden and an abundance of fruit every year. He tried the press for the first time at the end of the summer and now he knows what he’s doing is looking forward to using it again this year!
Really great apple press set – easy to assemble and felt sturdy to use. It’s a bit of a labour of love but a very enjoyable way to spend a sunny afternoon!
