With a 62 cm working width, the Type 800M is designed for collecting plums and other smaller fruit, including damsons, greengages, mirabelles, apricots, crab apples and smaller apples and pears. Its finer stainless steel collecting drum features approximately 20 × 22 mm pin spacing, allowing it to pick up fruit from around 25 mm in diameter while leaving much of the grass, leaves and loose debris behind.
The height-adjustable pin drum follows the contours of the ground and can be adjusted to suit different fruit sizes and terrain. This makes the Type 800M suitable for use in orchards, gardens, on rough ground and on slopes. It can also operate effectively in grass up to approximately 30 cm high.
The collector is fitted with two removable 12-litre collection containers, providing a total capacity of 24 litres. The baskets can be removed quickly for easy emptying.
